The sounding rocket department in the Exploration, Science & Space Safety division is responsible for providing the service systems for the project. In addition, projects in the micro gravity department are supported, among other things.


Responsibilities will include:



  • Design, measurement and alignment of antenna and HF networks (P and S band), HF filters, etc.

  • Aligning and setting transmitters and receivers

  • Draft interface specifications

  • Creation and review of technical documentation

  • Creation of test procedures/reports

  • System and subsystem development, design and testing

  • Integration, testing and mission support

  • Software development

  • Support in preparing offers and project planning




Qualifications required:




  • Systems technology, electrical engineering, high-frequency technology, electronic, electromechanical and optical circuit technology

  • System knowledge in the area of GPS receivers, video transmission (analogue and digital)

  • Engineer with a focus on electrical engineering, high frequency technology, aerospace and computer science

  • Experience in the technical conception and design of spacecraft, space devices and their subsystems

  • Skills in System Analysis, Requirements Definition, Design, Verification, Spacecraft Operations

  • Customer-focused design and action

  • Flexibility in technical problems, high willingness to cooperate; Teamwork

  • Good written and spoken English knowledge

  • Programming knowledge in C / C++, Phyton, Lab View, Matlab
