Your Tasks


- Participation in or leadership of proposals and subsequent studies/projects (phases 0/A/B)
and technology development programs with a focus on secure and quantum communication.

- Preparation of proposals and subsequent implementation projects (phases B/C/D/E)
with a focus on secure/quantum communication.

- Security analyses and certification activities related to secure or quantum
communication missions, payloads, and components.

- Vulnerability analyses and threat/risk assessments.

- Support and advice for security validation according to ISO 27000
and certification according to CC/ITGS of the BSI.

- Analysis and definition of customer, mission, and system requirements.

- Technical coordination and systems management.

- Definition of study logic, work breakdown, and work packages.

- Manage work packages and sub-projects.

- Trade-offs of technical and programmatic solutions.

- Specification of systems and subsystems, including interface engineering.

- Derivation of security system requirement specifications and system architectures,
as well as the development of cybersecurity concepts.

- Close collaboration with system design teams to ensure a common understanding
of cybersecurity threats, risks, features, and seamless implementation.

- Definition and management of engineering budgets.



Your Qualifications


- Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science,
or an equivalent field.

- Experience in the design and implementation of secure and quantum communication
systems for ground and space applications.

- Technical knowledge and experience in key management systems.

- Technical knowledge and experience in cryptographic systems.

- Experience in assessing security risks using the EBIOS or ISO methodology.

- Ideally, experience in leading small teams in project management and technical roles.

- Passion for providing systematic approaches to verify the security properties of systems.

- Ability to work in a team with a self-managed and proactive working style.
