Overview
-We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader for the Astronomy & Space Access business unit in the Future Programs department.
-In this exciting area, we develop antenna and telescope projects for our customers in the field of astronomy. We also use antennas and telescopes in the
satellite communications and space surveillance business units. Space Access also covers our topics for rocket launch facilities, such as GOSA, a planned
launch platform in the North Sea. What's particularly exciting is that we can implement our projects on all continents of the world.
Your Responsibilities
– Professional and disciplinary management, evaluation, and further development of the team
– Planning and coordination of personnel deployment
– Responsibility for the implementation of all tender activities and studies on future topics
– Business initiation including the development of project-specific business concepts
– Tender management: Conducting tender/contract negotiations
– Preparation of market analyses
– Contact person for customers and partners
– Establishment and maintenance of relationships with customers, suppliers, decision-makers, and other industry executives
– Responsibility for new order intake
Your Qualifications
– Successfully completed degree in aerospace, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a similar degree
– Several years of professional experience in a relevant field, both sales and the aerospace industry desirable
– Experience in dealing with customers
– High problem-solving orientation and creativity as well as a high willingness to cooperate
– Good communication skills and a high degree of empathy and assertiveness
– Innovativeness and a well-organized and structured way of working
– Knowledge of customers, competitors, and suppliers
– Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) to other locations and (potential) customers
– Very good written and spoken German and English skills
– Organized and structured work style
– Initial management experience desirable
